Notice to players: In all of our tournaments, when we do the Cup points we do not consider the format of the tournament. The  WTDGA CUP is a tournament on its own--that is, an individual  stroke play format against the entire field. The Cup race is not flighted, so even if you won your flight, you might not have the most Cup points in a tournament. Except for the 2-Day Amateur champion bonus, the main tournament results have no effect on your WTDGA Cup points.

THE WTDGA CUP

THE WTDGA CUP--A season long accumulation of points that could get you an invitation to play in a two-day match play event. The top 8 Gross and the top 8 Net point earners will secure a spot in a match play event to be played over two days in August.

Play in as many WTDGA events as you can and you have a chance to be part of the event.  The top ten finishers in each event (gross and net) will earn extra points according to the schedule below. Everyone that plays and finishes will also earn points.

The Solheim, Seniors, Foursomes (Scotch) and Team Matches will not count for points.  For all the other tournaments we put in hole-by-hole scores that allow us to make it a true INDIVIDUAL championship.

In the match play playoffs, players in the Net Flight will receive their strokes where they fall—off the low player. Gross will play head to head. There will be two 9-hole matches the first day and one 18-hole match the second day to determine the WTDGA Cup Winners.

We will be posting points on the web site all season long. Follow your progress and sign up for our events to keep the points coming!
